For over 90 years the Pla Mor Ballroom has entertained Lincoln and the surrounding communities with a wide variety of events. The Ballroom opened its doors in 1929 and has hosted historic big band legends such as Count Basie and Lawrence Welk. The Pla Mor Ballroom currently features a wide variety of Big Bands on a regular basis raning from Russ Morgan Orchestra to The Bobby Layne Orchestra, who has played at Pla Mor for over 50 years.

Be sure to join us for FREE Country Dance Lessons (with paid admission to the show) from 7:00pm – 8:00pm before every Country Sunday performance. Country Dance lessons taught by the Doeden Dancers Al and Roberta Doeden. The Doeden Dancers have been teaching in the Lincoln area for over 20 years.
Ballroom
The Pla Mor Ballroom offers formal Ballroom Dance Lessons 3 times a year (Spring, Summer and Fall). The 6 week sessions includes 6 ballroom dance classes plus Admission Passes to the Pla Mor for future Ballroom Dancing! Classes are Wednesday night from 7:00pm to 8:30pm Only $85 per person.
