What was built in 1904 as the Fort Dodge Armory has been converted to what is famously known now as the Laramar Ballroom. The Laramar is a modern traditional two-story venue complete with a wraparound balcony, a main floor cocktail lounge, a 20X30 stage that has once hosted legendary performers, such as Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper, Johnny Cash, Jimmie Hendricks, Loverboy, Foghat, and Blue Oyster Cult just to name a few. History and elegance truly merge with this brick venue that accommodates a numerous range of events, from concerts to weddings, corporate events, and everything in between.
